Natalie Hona

Natalie is an accomplished dancer who began her training at the age of 4 in various styles like jazz, tap, and ballet. After graduating in 2005 from the New Zealand School of Dance, she collaborated with renowned companies such as Black Grace and Java Dance Theatre. Natalie also worked with Staadtstheatre Bremerhaven in Germany before returning to New Zealand and becoming a Pilates Instructor.Natalie taught at the New Zealand School of Dance, instructing both the scholars and the contemporary full-timer’s conditioning programs. She also started her own studio Wairere Pilates in Johnsonville. Additionally, she continued performing with Java Dance Theatre in "The Creamery" and “Cheese".After taking some time off to embrace motherhood Natalie now works with the Chilton Ballet Academy full timers, offers private sessions at her studio in Paraparaumu, and has created the Dance Mate program, which focuses on helping teenage dancers establish a solid foundation in dance technique.
