An Honest Conversation with Sophie Gargan and Lachlan Broughton

There is no script and no choreography and this performance can only ever happen once. The vision of Sacha Copland, this intriguing creation is unlike anything you’ve seen before, or will ever see again. 26 year old Australian Lachlan Broughton and 29 year old Taranaki local Sophie Gargan will talk while dancing for 1 hour. They will try to be honest. Sophie has been dancing in Melbourne and recently returned home. Sophie and Lachy will try to dance, talk and be honest. “Hi, Im Sophie! I grew up on a goat farm here in Omata, Taranaki. I love many things in life, and dancing is one of them. I moved back to Taranaki in August from Melbourne to enjoy the ocean, rivers and bush. I have been travelling and dancing for the past 8 years, and hope to continue to do so for the next while.”
