An Honest Conversation with Vicki Van Hout and Sacha Copland

Talk, dance and be honest. In An Honest Conversation two dancers talk out loud while dancing for an hour. They try to be as honest as they can. It is completely improvised. Vicki Van Hout and Sacha Copland will perform An Honest Conversation at Riverside Theatres as part of FORM Dance Projects “That’s Two, Thank You”, new annual dance festival celebrating the art of the duet on 3 April 2025. 57-year-old dance artist Vicki Van Hout and 43-year-old choreographer Sacha Copland will talk while dancing for 1 hour. They will try to be honest. In their own words 💥VICKI VAN HOUT💥 “Like running fast while trying to eat slowly, is it even possible to speak lies, or keep secrets, while making a commitment to dance with authenticity? It is this proposition which fills me with intrigue and anticipation in equal measure. In order to honor my commitment to honesty with Sacha I know I’ll have to keep my wits about me and my body at the ready. As those who know me as a person who runs the gamut of emotions at any given moment I can only hope that they (my emotions) and you, come along for the ride.”
