Emma Coppermith
Emma graduated in 2010 from the NZ School of Dance. Upon graduating Emma freelanced in Wellington, working on numerous film, photography and movement projects, including securing a role in feature film ‘Ghost in the Shell’ in 2016. Since2013 Emma has been a core dancer with Java playing major roles in The Creamery, Cheese, Web, The Wine Project, Dirt, Back of the Bus, Down Beneath Below, Treat and Chocolate, touring to Australia, the UK, South Korea, China and extensively throughout NZ. Emma has worked regularly with Richard Taylor and Javier Murcia at Weta. From 2011-14 Emma performed in the World of Wearable ArtAwards Show (WOW), modelling and dancing, including the Hong Kong season. In2012 Emma worked as a dancer and choreographer with Muted Crane Productions’, ‘The ‘I’ Test and as a dancer with Bipeds ‘Lung Tree’. Emma worked with Java Dance Theatre from 2013-21. Emma now teaches at The Pilates Studio, her very own Pilates studio.
